I don't get it, what is "Nostalgia"?

"Nostalgia" is the best of both the tradition of the past and the speed of the present. I believe that you should walk away from your experience with us being able to hold something in your hands and pass it from person as people peer over shoulders to see your tangible wedding story. I also believe you should be able to quickly share a photo or more with those miles away, which is why I include digital copies of your photographs. In addition, you recieve an online gallery for a set amount of time, giving your guest the ability to order without you being the middle-man. It truly is the best of both worlds.

What happens during a consultation and why do I need one?

I get to know you, your wants as well as your needs and you get a chance to meet me and learn more about how I work. We will talk about how you met, your vision and mine as well as the all important Timeline. I am not the type of photographer that you book on the phone and don't see until your wedding day. Consultations help us work out the details and solve the kinks before they happen. Building a relationship with my client is important to me and the experience I offer. In the end, you will be satisfied with how your story is told and we'll become great friends.

What about traditional group and family shots, do you take those?

Of course! I am a strong believer in photography as a way to tell the story of families. I do ask that you have someone available to get the necessary people needed for each shot together before we begin these shots and I think it's best to spend no more than 30 minutes on these shots so that you can spend more time celebrating.

Can I change the collections?

My collections are set up to best display your story for years to come in the most complete form I can provide. The keepsakes are the vehicle to keeping your memories fresh. As part of my boutique experience, my custom keepsakes are more than paper and books (though beautiful in their own right), they are an investment in your love and a final product that acts as a testament to the day and your journey together. All of my keepsakes focus on sharing your story and keeping it alive for generations to come.

Who owns the copyright?

We will own the copyrights. All that means is that you can't use the images for commercial means, nor give them to your vendors (direct them our way and we'll give them special treatment). With that said, of course you may use them for your personal use, meaning you may print them, email them to friends and family or upload them to Facebook. I do suggest that you get your large printing done through our professional labs rather than print them on your own due to quality concerns. Your images are art meant to be printed by professional labs.
